Refund Policy

1. Try before you pay

Every new account receives free credits so you can test effects, models and output quality before buying anything. Please use them to make sure the Service fits your needs; the refund rules below assume you had that opportunity.

2. New subscriptions

You may request a full refund of your first subscription payment (monthly or yearly) within 7 days of the purchase if you have not used any of the credits granted by that purchase.

Once credits from the purchase have been used to generate images or videos, the payment is generally non-refundable, because the compute cost has already been incurred on your behalf.

3. Renewals and upgrades

Renewal charges are eligible for a refund only if you request it within 48 hours of the renewal and have not used any credits issued by that renewal. We send renewal notices where required, and you can cancel at any time before renewal from the billing portal.

When you upgrade, the amount charged at checkout reflects the prorated difference and the extra credits are added immediately. Upgrade charges follow the same rule: refundable only if the added credits are unused and you contact us within 7 days.

4. Credit packs and top-ups

One-time credit packs (including the trial pack and top-ups) can be refunded within 7 days of purchase if none of the purchased credits have been used. Partially used packs are not refundable.

Bonus, promotional, referral and free credits have no cash value and are never refunded or exchanged for money.

5. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel at any time in the billing portal from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan and remaining credits stay available until the end of the current billing period. Cancelling does not by itself refund the current period.

Yearly plans are not refunded pro rata for unused months after the 7-day window, except where required by law.

6. Failed generations and service issues

If a generation fails because of an error on our side or an AI provider, the credits for that task are returned to your balance automatically. If you believe credits were not returned, contact us and we will check and restore them.

For duplicate charges, unauthorised payments, or paid features that were not delivered, we will correct the issue or issue a refund regardless of the time limits above.

Results that differ from your expectations because of prompts, input photos or the nature of AI generation are not by themselves grounds for a refund. We recommend testing an effect with free credits first.

7. When refunds are refused

We may refuse a refund where there are signs of abuse, such as repeated purchase-and-refund patterns, multiple accounts, or violations of our Terms of Service or acceptable use rules. Accounts suspended for such violations are not eligible for refunds of unused credits.

If you open a chargeback without contacting us first, we may suspend the account while the dispute is resolved. Please write to us first; we usually resolve billing problems faster than a bank dispute.

8. How to request a refund

Email support@aiphotoanimator.ai from your account email with the subject “Refund request”, the order or invoice reference and a short reason. Do not send card details.

We reply within 3 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method via Stripe and usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. When a refund is issued, the related subscription is cancelled and the credits from that purchase are removed.

9. Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country. Where the law gives you a broader right to a refund or withdrawal, that right applies. By starting to use credits during a statutory withdrawal period, you request immediate performance and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal may be lost for the portion already used, to the extent permitted by law.
